Nourishing unrefined Shea Butter and Aloe Vera Gel are highly conditioning skin-care ingredients that feed, protect and moisturize even the driest and sensitive of skins. It is easily absorbed while highly moisturising and does not clog pores.

This cream is suitable to use as a face, hand or body cream.

As is, and without any customisation except for the addition of scent and colour, this thick base is suitable for marketing as a Highly Hydrating Body Butter or Soufle.  It can be decanted into jars.

KEY INGREDIENTS:

• Aloe Gel - Hydrating anti-oxidant that soothes and nourishes skin.  Aloe Vera Gel is said to promote collagen production.

• Shea Butter  and Grapeseed Oil -  Deeply hydrating, smoothing and moisturising emollients.  High in vitamin e content.

• Glycerin - as a humectant, this attracts moisture to your skin and prevents dry, rough and itchy skin.  It is known to make the skin softer and more supple.  

• Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides - a superlight, easy spreading emollient that quickly and efficiently penetrates the surface to condition and provides a non-greasy barrier to the skin.  It prevents dryness by decreasing the amount of moisture loss on your skin.

   

This luxury base is free from mineral oils, petroleum products and parabens.

Ingredients:

Water, Aloe Vera Gel, Shea Butter, Capric Caprylic Triglycerides, Grapeseed Oil, Coconut Oil, Glycerin, [Cetearyl Alcohol & Peg - 20 Stearate],  Cetyl Alcohol, [Ethylhexylglycerin and Phenoxyethanol], Glyceryl Monostearate SE, Xanthan Gum and  Vitamin E Acetate

Usage Instructions:

Heat the cream base to around 40C. Pour in the additives and whisk or stick blend for several minutes to fully incorporate. Pour into containers.

This cream base is formulated to accept up to 5 percent of additional oils, Panthenol, or Essential Oils by weight. Water-based products like Aloe Vera liquid or Hydrosols do not need additional emulsifier, but they will thin the cream and still need to be stick-blended in.  

**Please heat the cream to about 60C if adding more water-based ingredients or additional butters.  Essential oils and panthenol may be added at just below 40C.

Important Notes

• Please sanitise your work area and equipment when working with any lotion/cream bases.  They are well preserved but proper Good Manufacturing Practises must be followed.  
• Do not close your jars until your lotion has reached room temperature
